There's a lot of things one can say about Sindome, some of them very good, and some very bad.
I have been playing for a while, and I've had the opportunity to see the many facets of the game and its community.

Let's start with the good! There's quite a lot of it.
If you're a fan of all things cyberpunk, then you'll feel right at home in the mean streets of Withmore City.
In the lower levels, it's a crime-ridden, gang-controlled sprawl of slums and crumbling tenements
where most problems can be solved with a liberal application of violence.
For the cloak and dagger fiends, there's the competitive corporate world in the upper sectors,
where success can either be earned through hard work or throwing your colleagues under the bus to get ahead.
Everything is tied together under the watchful eye of the local law enforcement,
who look like they marched right out of Judge Dredd with their armored uniforms and sidearms.
Roleplay is everywhere, if you put in the effort to find it, and there are several mechanical systems in play
to help make these things possible. It's not a MUSH, or any other MU*, there's a solid game that serves as the
foundation for the roleplaying experience. The volunteer GMs are generally pretty attentive when they are available,
and recent overhauls to the system make it easier to request GM assistance during their respective windows of availability.

And now we have the fuzzy end of the lollipop: the bad. The community can be a little bristly at first,
especially if this is your first time dealing with anything MOO-based. Chances are you'll be asking questions
hundreds of people have asked over the years and will be getting a flood of answers back, some smarmy,
others genuinely helpful. Most of the time the answer is going to be 'Find Out IC', so if you lack the patience
to work things out in the game world and expect everything to be handed to you from the start, this might not be
the MOO for you. There are small things, like arbitrary setbacks 'just because', in the name of enforcing the theme
of the game. There are big things, like some staff PCs getting to do whatever they want without GM consequences.
Of the three senior staff members who have been around for years, one is a dedicated and hardworking coder who is
constantly working on huge improvements to the game. Another is semi-inactive but puts most of his effort into community
outreach and creating extremely helpful tutorial videos for new players. Both have families and/or real lives to contend with,
leaving the game in the hands of the third senior staffer for the day to day. And here's where the game's biggest flaw
comes into play: A complete lack of oversight for the senior staff. I'm sure at some point they kept each other in check,
but with the other two senior staffers busy with real life, they aren't around to notice the third one is burning the place down.
Flagrant abuse of authority is not uncommon, and the best you can do is try to ignore it, because pointing it out will cause
the staff to jump to his defense, despite not getting any of the context. If you're lucky, this earns you a multiple-paragraph
furiously-typed tirade from the big man himself. If you're very lucky, he instead shouts this tirade to the entire game to point out
how stupid he thinks you are in front of every player. Sometimes you might feel like you are playing the game because it's great.
Other times you'll feel like you're playing the game despite its egregious flaws.

As it stands, I would absolutely recommend coming by and at least checking the place out. It's been a lot of fun for me personally,
and despite my complaints, I find myself drawn back into the vividly crafted world on a daily basis. It's a great place to roleplay
once you learn who to avoid.

Despite not being an extremely active member of this game, I cannot
walk away from this review without giving Amelie a big High five. I
have been an occasional player on Sindome for about 4 or so years now
and every time I visit, I get that same general mix of Good and Bad...
well, none of the Bad has really ever been directed at me, thankfully.

For the most part, the staff there are great. Every time I come back,
I get drawn into the game no matter what my focus is.

If you are looking for a game with a strong Cyberpunk theme, great
RP, and awesome stuff for you to do, I wholeheartedly suggest giving
this game a real solid go.
